Paradise Kiss belongs to Drama and Romance genre. This anime tells a story about an eccentric group of fashion students who want to pursue their dreams to make their own label of fashion.
Yukari is a student who always listen to her mom what to do, she always attends school and try the best to get a good score in school, but she always fail. She can't make her mom proud of her like what her younger brother did. She always looks like she feels depressed. She starts to ask her-self what is her way of life, then she meet a group of fashion design students who has a clothing label known as "Paradise Kiss". This groups want to make their clothing label approved to be a fashion label. The group needs to find a model to show their design in an up-coming fashion show and they try to find everywhere. Then, someone from the group meet Yukari and think that Yukari is the perfect girl to be their model. So they made a decision that Yukari is going to be their model.

As the time goes, she join with the groups, she realises that they are really nice people. Furthermore, their passion and enthusiasm to pursue their dreams and follow their ideals make Yukari realises that she hasn't been enjoying her life and this motivated her to pursue her own dreams. This has make some problems for her, since her mother is a strict person. But she try to convince her mother that this is what she want for her life. When the fashion show time is arrive, she invite her mother to see her performance. And finally her mother agree with her choice. And for the group, they made their own label.
